KENMORE ROTARY CHARITABLE TRUST
The Kenmore Rotary Charitable Trust (ABN 92 483 979 439) has been established to attract donations from Corporates, organisations and individuals. The Trust is a Public Trust that is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission.
The Trust operations are tax exempt and it is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient by the Australian Tax Office. This enables all donors to receive a tax deduction for any donations made to the Trust.
The Trustee for the Trust is KR Directorate Limited, a company limited by guarantee. The three Directors of the Trustee Company must be members of the Rotary Club of Kenmore and qualify as “responsible persons” for a Public Ancillary Fund.
The Trust provides the structure to enable donations to be sought to support the strategic plan of Kenmore Rotary in their funding of local, national and international projects.
DONATIONS
The Trust has designated gift recipient status which means donations of $2.00 or more to the Trust are tax deductible. The directors of the trustee decide from time to time to whom funds raised by the Trust will be paid and these are worthwhile Rotary projects that assist financially disadvantaged people, people in rural/regional/remote communities and victims of disaster.
