As we near the end of our Kenmore Rotary Cash for Christmas Raffle, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your support and effort. With just one weekend left, the end is in sight! The raffle will be drawn on Sunday 15^th December, and I look forward to calling the lucky winner of the $5000 cash prize and the $1500 travel voucher from Hello World. I have been very proud of how Club members have stuck their hand up to help with organising and selling tickets.  It has been a good reminder that many hands make light work.

This time of year also brings to light the true spirit of Rotary, and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all members who have contributed to our Christmas Hampers and Giving Tree initiatives. These projects are a vital part of spreading joy and providing support to those in need in our community. The generosity shown in collecting donations for the hampers and fulfilling the Giving Tree’s wish list has been nothing short of inspiring.

A very special thank you goes to Ricky, who has once again, coordinated both the hampers and Giving Tree efforts with exceptional dedication and care. Ricky, your hard work and commitment to ensuring these projects run smoothly are deeply appreciated by all of us and, most importantly, by the people we are helping this Christmas.

In addition to these vital community contributions, I was delighted to celebrate the festive season with all of you at our annual Christmas Party. It was a wonderful chance to reflect on the year’s achievements, enjoy each other’s company, and recognise the collective impact we’ve made.  It was also gratifying to be able to thank Haley and the One Table team for their support over the past year

As we enter this holiday season, I wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year. Thank you for all you do, and I look forward to continuing our work together in 2025.
